Feedback please...
Please give feedback and let me know if you found this easy to understand and useful. Are my instructions clear? or do you just want images with no instructions.
Also a notice, as I am very busy with other work I have to do, I can only do a character every 2-3 weeks. So check back every now and then. Any delays in posting I will give a notice. This will be due the other work I am doing.

Learn how to draw....Stewie Griffin
Step 1:
First, we are going to draw a guideline frame for our image. (Draw this stage very lightly in pencil and so it is easy to rub out at the end or on computer draw in light colour of your choice).
Starting with stewie's head. Ovals and circles are not easy to draw and sometimes artist have to have a few attempts, so don't feel bad it is difficult. I'ts very rare that anyone can really draw a perfect circle in one attempt hand-drawn (not including tracing around object).
So to make it as easy as possible, start by making 4 marks on your paper as I have done above. This will act as a guide for drawing Stewie's oval shaped head. (for quick upload purposes I have done this via computer, you can also draw by computer aswell if you wish).
Step 2:
Join up the marks with a curve shape as I have done. Now you have have Stewie's head.
Step 3:
To make a character cute, such as a baby, they tend to have a big head/eyes with a small body to appear this way.
Now we are going to work out stewie's height which is very easy. Stewie's head takes up half of his body therefore double the height of stewie's head (from top of oval to bottom of oval) and repeat the measurement below and draw a dash. This will be where his feet are. Then, draw a line in the middle, which represents stewies body (we will call this the body line).
Step 4:
Now we are going to draw a cross on Stewie's face to show give us an outline/guide to help us find where his facial features (eyes, nose, mouth, ears) go. Draw as above.
Step 5:
Now lets put in his arms. Draw as above making sure the middle of the curves touch the middle body line. It almost looks like a bow tie.
Step 6:
Draw a circle on the middle right of the body line. This will be Stewie's cupped hands.
Step 7:
Now from underneath the arm lines, draw a circular shape as above. This is Stewie's body/torso
Step 8:
Now we can draw in Stewie's legs by simply drawing two simple lines down either side of the body to the dash at the bottom (feet). There you have it the framework for drawing Stewie.
Step 9:
Now lets work out where Stewie's eyes are placed. Just as we did with drawing Stewie's oval head, we are going to draw Stewie's circle eyes using similar marks.
the top of stewie's eyes are in line with the position of his ear. I've draw a dash outside the image represent the height of stewie's eyes.
Step 10:
Join up the marks and complete the circle. Now you have stewie's eyes.
Step 11:
Now lets work out stewie's other facial features. At the very middle of the cross is where Stewie's nose is. Draw a small point with the top half being slightly longer. Below the nose and in line with the bottom of the eyes, draw a dash. This is the mouth. Draw two lines above the eyes, slightly tilted, to represent the eyebrows. Finally draw two small circles on either side of the head as above. There we go, now it is starting to take shape and already looking like Stewie. Now we are ready to draw in all the details.
Step 12:
Using a fine liner/black pen/black colour on computer, draw around the eyes. Then draw two lines in the middle as seen in the picture.
Step 13:
Draw two small dots of eyes. making sure the dot is touching the top line inside the eye.
Step 14:
Draw over the two eyebrow lines. and do the same over the nose.
Step 15:
To draw Stewie's ears, draw two small semi circles, using the circle you drew to mark out the ears. then draw a slightly small curve inside the ear. Now to draw the mouth, draw a very small curved line as I have done.
Then on the left hand side of this line, draw a very small dash going down. You can now see a smile.
Almost like a arrow point, on the right had side of the mouth, from the tip of the line (top lip), draw a tilted line going left. Again do the same going right, however longer and make sure the line is slightly behind the top lip. If confused by my description, look at my imag and copy.
Step 16:
Join up the ears using the oval shaped head guide. LEAVE a small gap where the chin is.
Step 17:
Lets draw the arms and hands. Start by drawing two simple lines like I have
Step 18:
Draw a curve as I have done here, following the guideline. This will be the sleeves of Stewie's top.
Step 19:
Now complete the arm by again following the guideline and joining the picture up. You now have one of Stewie's arms.
Step 20:
Draw a 'U' like shape as I have done here.
Step 21:
Now continuing from the u shape, draw an 'M' . We now have his fingers.
Step 22:
Join up the bottom of the sleeve, following the guideline with the toher finger to make the bottom finger.
Step 23:
Draw an circular shape starting from the top right of the U shape and going over the gap in the chin all the way to the bottom top line of the bottom finger.
Step 24:
Draw two lines as I have done to complete the hands. We now have the cupped hands. Lets finish of the arm
Step 25:
Draw a line as I have done. This is the top of the second arm.
Step 26:
Following the guide, join up as follows and there we have Stewies arms and cupped hands.
Step 27:
Draw two lines vertical above the top arm line. This si the strap on Stewie's clothing.
Step 28:
Under the right arm, draw in a tiny dash.
Step 29:
Again following the guidelines, draw a curve to make one side of Stewie's body.
Step 30:
Following the guideline again, draw a curve on the other side. Now we have Stewie's body.
Step 31:
Draw two semi-circle's beneath the hands/arms as I have done. Look at where I they are positioned. For example, the left hand side buckle is in-line with the strap.
Step 32:
Now join up the buckle to make Stewie's top Draw lines with a slight 'you guessed it' curve .You may have noticed that a lot of the drawing involves curves, rarely straight lines. This helps give the image a more roundly volume feel whereas if you just drew with straight lines, it looks flat and poor.
Now lets join up the body with its legs and feet. First the feet. I hope by now you are seeing your stewie image come to life.
Step 33:
Rememer at the very begining, we drew a body line and a dash at the both when working out stewie's height. Now we need those lines to help us draw this part. Starting from the left draw a curve and make sure the other side is just past the 'body line'. Now we have the base of our feet. Next...
Step 34:
Draw short curves coming from the feet as I have done here.
Step 35:
Now we are going to make Stewie's left foot by simply joining up the two points with a wavy line. See my image.
Step 36:
Now for the right foot. Simply again join up the image but this time make sure the line is touching the left foot curve going up. We are almost done.
Step 37:
Join up the body and the feet to make the legs by drawing over the guidelines for the legs (the two lines on either side.
Step 38:
Draw a line from the top of the left foot and in line with the body line. At the top of the line, make a small bend. See on my image.
Step 39:
Now to complete the drawing phase, draw in Stewie's hair with curved lines. One side of the line touches the head outline whilst the other goes over it.
Step 40:
Now rub out the pencil guidelines with a rubber or use a rubber tool on the computer and remove the guidelines. THERE YOU HAVE IT, YOU HAVE DRAWN STEWIE GIRFFIN.
(Now I am going into colour. You can choose to colour your image and follow on or keep your black and white stewie image. NO MATTER WHAT, KEEP PRACTISING!! AND ENJOY! Don't worry about mistakes, you can always try again. I hope your Stewie looks similar to mine. Good luck. Now onto colour...
Step 41:
Note: I am now going to show you what colours to use via computer using RGB (Red Green Blue) to get the exact colours I have. If you have done it on paper you can either just use colour pencils, felt tip pens or paint to colour your image in by matching the colours I have. Or if you have done the drawing on paper, you can always scan the image in and follow on from here. So lets get colouring.
Skin colour (R: 243, G: 225 B: 201). Once you have your colour you can just click fill colour. If it does not work, it means you have a gap in your lines. there must be no gaps in order for fill colour to work.
Eyes in white (R: 255, G: 255, B: 255)
Step 42:
Red top: (R: 193, G: 37, B: 41)
Step 43:
Yellow top: (R: 255, G: 236, B: 99)
Step 44:
Buckles (R: 225, G: 212, B: 133)
Step 45:
Blue shoes: (R: 153, G: 207, B: 245)
Step 46:
(Now we have the base colours of Stewie. To really bring him to life, add light and dark shades and draw in as follows:
Dark red shade on red top: (R: 173, G: 36, B: 43)
Dark Yellow shades on yellow top (R: 225, G: 216, B: 79)
Dark shade of Skin: (R:217, G: 192, B: 170)
Dark Boue shade on shoes: (R: 126, G: 174, B: 210)
Light blue shade on shoes: (R: 201, G: 239, B: 255)
Light red shade on red top: (R: 232, G: 128, B: 127)
Light skin on top of head: (R: 251, G: 241, B: 231)
Colour inside ear and under nose: (R: 203, G: 190, B: 173)
WELL DONE!!!!!!!!!! YOU HAVE STEWIE GRIFFIN!!!!!!!!!!! "WHAT THE DUCE!!!???" I've just drawn Stewie Griffin :)
